Immediately, after receiving his calling, he began to prepare himself for ministry by attending Elias Cottrell Institute at Lane Chapel C.M.E. Church in Tupelo, Mississippi. During those years at Elias Cottrell, he studied sermon preparation, C.M.E. polity, and black theology, and he grew as a pastor and preacher. Later, he returned to ICC to receive an Associate of Applied Science degree in Criminal Justice. Then, he transferred to the University of Mississippi to better prepare himself for ministry. In 2012, he graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice. In December 2021, Pastor Miller completed a Master of Divinity degree from Memphis Theology Seminary. Now, he is pursuing his Doctor in Ministry degree in Community Witness and Social Justice.
