This young man is anointed and the spirit falls fresh on him. He is a son of the pastoral, Reverend Dr. O’Neal Shyne. Rev. Antoine Shyne demonstrated a love for the C.M.E. church at an early age and humbly responded to the call. He subsequently received his local preacher’s license in 1995 at age 10.
Rev. Antoine Shyne, a native of Dayton, Ohio, is the eldest son of the late Rev. Dr. and Mrs. O’Neal Shyne, Jr. He is also the grandson of Rev. and Mrs. Lonnie Waites and the late Rev. O’Neal Shyne and the late Mrs. Mary E. Gates-Shyne. Rev. Shyne is married to Lady Leila J. Shyne and the father of Miss Ananiah J. Shyne.
He graduated from Meadowdale High School in Dayton, Ohio. After graduation, he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Central State University in 2009. He furthered his education by receiving a Master of Ministry degree from the United Theological Seminary in May 2013. Rev. Shyne is currently working on a Doctorate of Ministry from the United Theological Seminary.
She was born and raised in Kansas City, KS and is the youngest child of Mrs. Reba and the late Mr. Herbert Simmons.
First Lady Shyne graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing in 2008. She has been practicing as a registered nursing in the following fields: maternity, pediatrics, family and skilled nursing for 15 years. She is currently practicing as a nurse clinician at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital.
First Lady Shyne gave her life to the Lord at a C.M.E. Youth and Young Adult Conference in North Carolina at the age of 14. Since then, her desire has been to live a life that is pleasing unto God.
