BEEBE MEMORIAL COVID-19 UPDATE
Good afternoon BMC Family and Friends,
Praying this note finds each of you well and holding on to your faith amidst this time of storm. Our God is Faithful!
As you know, the information surrounding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to develop almost by the hour. We promised to keep you updated as we receive new information that impacts our church family and ministry.
The Interim Health Officer of Alameda County along with five other area counties, has issued an order to “Shelter in Place” effective at 12:01 a.m. March 17th through April 7th. In essence this means, that everyone is advised to stay in their residence except for “Essential Travel”. Profit and not for profit businesses except for those listed in the order are expected to close and remain closed for this period. For more information on the details of this order, please click here to view the order in PDF format.
While sheltered in place, we are still mindful of The Center for Disease Control (CDC) advisories:
- Practice social distancing keeping six feet between you and other persons.
- Cover your cough, sneeze with a tissue or your sleeve, and not in your hands.
- Wash your hands often/regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Most importantly, our elders and those with underlying health conditions are advised not to leave home and to have others conduct essential travel on your behalf.
If you have yet to do so, please follow our social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) by clicking the icons below. We will also share timely updates via these channels. For those not connected to social media, we will make every effort to communicate via our text alert system. To sign up TEXT: BEEBE to 41411
