The Empowerment Community Development Corporation (ECDC) is a non-profit organization that was birthed to provide transformative services to youth and families within the local community.

Empower You

“Empower You” life skills curriculum and activities involve educational training, developing employable skills to maximize employment opportunities and helping youth and young adults find their voice so that they will make informed decisions about life challenges. To equip all participants with the methodology and proficiency to effect positive changes in their life and enrich life skills. In this regard, Empower You is the catalyst by which youth and young adults will become positively involved in community life as employees, volunteers and productive citizens.

Empower You is designed to equip at-risk youth and young adults ages 15-24 in Alameda County with the skills necessary to become employment ready and college prepared. Empower You have pre-qualified more than 20 community residents for these services.
